High Performance for Commercial Refrigeration: R-404A delivers excellent cooling capacity and stable operating pressures, making it ideal for a range of refrigeration applications including walk-in freezers, display cases, ice machines, and industrial chillers.

Compatible with R-502 and R-22 Systems: IR-404A was originally introduced as a replacement for ozone-depleting refrigerants like R-502 and R-22. It provides similar or improved performance, although retrofitting requires system modifications and the use of POE lubricants.

Zero Ozone Depletion Potential: As a chlorine-free HFC refrigerant, R-404A has an ODP of 0, meaning it does not contribute to ozone layer depletion. However, it has a high Global Warming Potential (GWP ≈ 3922), which is a consideration for systems subject to evolving environmental regulations.
